Moments With Myself

A tear drop in those dark eyes was about to drop
And if it did, her dampened eyes would make my heart stop

The scarlet lips were in a curve and about to wail
And when they would, my entire being would quail

Time came to a standstill.
Or I wish it did.
A Prayer I sent upwards
For this moment to go back or at least stay

One more moment and I would die
For I could never bear to see her cry

The cherubic girl was in deep grief
And I had been the cause of this mischief

Being an adult only in a physical sense
I lost touch with innocence and its essence

I prayed yet again for her smile to return
And opened my arms to let the anguish burn

The dark eyes now were moist like dew
And her scarlet lips with a smile anew

People are drawn together by a certain feeling of affinity, of agreement or of attraction between some part of one

the morning comes with a soft glow
my heart flutters from the memories aflow

the distance that is physical
disappears by powers mystical

I feel your breath caressing me
and your warmth in my entirety

you call up , i pick up the phone
entering the powerful zone

of a physical distance and yet a presence
of no touch yet a connected sense

your voice soothes me to the core
and some times pains me and my eyes get sore

i know I love you but i feel beyond that
I know I miss you even though you are my part

How do I tell you that touching you feels like touching a cloud?
and feeling you I feel a strength of mountains so proud.
